OUR FIRST MEETING

Michael Duncan can come to your home or site to consult with you on your building needs, discussing any information that you will need to provide us so that we can give you a cost estimate.



This is also a good time for you to ask any questions about the building process and communications during the project. We are happy to answer any enquiries you may have either during this meeting or at any time during the process.

REFERRALS AND EXAMPLES

BUILDING PLANS AND DESIGNS

If you're looking to build a new home, we can use your preferred plans or direct you to a recommended architect or draftsperson to prepare and submit your plans for council approval.



Design planning is also available for clients after an extension or renovation, allowing us to schedule in your building task as soon as the plans are ready.

COST ESTIMATES

Once we have an idea of the scope of your project, we are able to provide you with a cost estimate. Preliminary costing of your building work ensures that the work completed is within your budget.



All materials used for our building projects are suited to local conditions, including the use of treated timber frames and permanent termite protection barriers. Cost estimates are free, with no obligation to proceed.

COMPREHENSIVE QUOTE

We provide you with a detailed quote, which outlines all materials to be used, as well as all costing and specification information.



Michael Duncan Constructions endeavour to include all possible costs in this quote, to avoid any additional charges (where possible) to your final price.

CONTRACTS & BUILDING AGREEMENTS

Prior to commencement of work, a contract will be completed. This will outline intended timelines for the building stages, as well

as defining payment dates.



Michael Duncan Constructions will provide a fixed price or cost plus price for all building works. We will provide a copy of all contracts to our clients prior to building work commencing.

COMMENCE BUILDING

Michael Duncan Constructions begin the building process, as per your contract. Michael is very hands-on with his approach and he is on-site for the duration of your project.



We aim to stick to your timeline, ensuring each stage is completed within deadline and without hassle.

For clients having renovations, extensions or additions made to their home or office, Michael Duncan Constructions can provide a quote for all of our services.



All renovation, extension and additions work is carried out with minimal disruption to clients where possible. In many cases, you will not even have to move out of your home while this work is carried out.

OUR QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Michael is a fully qualified builder, and we are a Master Builders Australia (MBA) member. Michael Duncan Constructions is licensed and insured, with more than 20 years of experience building homes and home improvements on the Gold Coast, in sunny Queensland.
